EG-250 Stuffing Box

An easily removable stuffing box allows these pumps to be customized to meet customer needs. EG-250 Stuffing box cover is available in two styles: for mechanical seals or for regular packing. The packed box has a tapped opening to the lantern ring to allow grease lubrication or a flush line to be attached.

A stuffing box is a mechanical sealing device used in various applications to prevent leaks or escape of fluid or gas from a rotating or reciprocating shaft. It is typically used in pumps, compressors, valves, and other equipment with a shaft that needs to pass through a wall or a housing.
