The pipe processor provides the top-drive unit with the ability to lift the 28m long column and unlatch the column with the drilling motor. It consists of the following important parts:
1, rotary ring adapter;
2, back clamp assembly;
3, lifting ring tilt device;
4. Internal blowout preventer valve;
5. Hanger ring and drill pipe hanger.
The upper shackle device has a shackle at any height of the derrick. When drilling, the shackle device on the drill pipe is fixed and does not prevent the drilling string from going down. The drilling motor transfers torque to the drill string through the spindle, internal blowout preventer and protection connector to drive the drill string rotation. The ring adapter transfers the lifting load to the main shaft when the drill pipe is used to pick up the trip.
